The South African Climate Action Network is the coordinating body of climate justice orientated organisations. It is a growing group of civil societies that speak with a united voice.

Our mission is driving climate justice in South Africa with a common message. This allows us to reach our vision is towards a just transition to an equitable and sustainable South Africa.

This is all taken into account the 1.5°C global average temperature increase, through a decentralised and decarbonised South African energy system.

SA CAN is a part of CAN International, the worldwide network of over 1,100 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in more than 120 countries, working to promote government and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels.
